Mia has been adopted.

Mia is a senior kitty who was living outside for what we believe was quite awhile. She was believed to be totally feral, so one of our volunteers trapped her. She was in extremely rough shape then and must have been feeling awful and very afraid. She was in renal failure on intake as she was completely malnourished. She has recently had blood work done and has been cleared by the vet for adoption. She will need a quality wet food but otherwise she shouldn’t require any other medical treatment.

Although she can still sometimes be fearful, Mia does seek out attention. She likes head scratches on her terms, and will butt her head into your hand for pets. Mia is just looking for a quiet home in which to spend her remaining years where she can feel safe and loved as she is. If you can find it in your heart to love her for whatever time she has left, we would love to hear from you. Mia will have a reduced adoption fee for the right home.
